Donkey (17" x 24", ink and
watercolor) - This donkey was done after a 9-month stay in Carthage,
Tunisia in 1963, where Mary came to know donkeys and
camels very well. This is one of a series
of pen and ink drawings that emerged from her
large collection of sketches. |
