Elephant (pen and ink) - Over the
course of her many trips to India, and especially
after a several-month stay in Sri Lanka, Mary
came to love elephants, perhaps as her favorite
animal. This is one of a series of ink
drawings that capture wonderfully the deep
complexity she saw in these beasts. |
