                      Finch (9" x 9") - While Mary
and family were living in Carthage they
acquired an ornate, domed bird cage of the
type that is typically Tunisian.  The
occupant of this cage came to be a North
African finch, whom the children named
"Squeak". This mosaic is a portrait of
Squeak, showing his red face, white breast
                      and buff back.
