| Sacred Cow - On her numerous trips to India Mary spent a lot of time in the streets seeing the rich tapestry of people and animals seething around her. She paid particular attention to all the sacred cows wandering around, making countless sketches. Several scenes with cows became paintings after her return home, and this is one of them. |
