| Skull on Marsh (acrylic on canvas) - As Mary's spiritual awareness grew, she began to see deep connections between nature (especially the woods), bones, architecture, and of course the Light. This painting is one of several where she tried to convey the mystical connections that she saw. Here, the peacefulness and rich bogginess of a woodland marsh connect with a prominent skull and traces of buildings. |
