Cat Head (acrylic on canvas) - Mary always
seemed to have one or two pet cats that she was very attached
to.  Every summer when the family moved to Yelping Hill, the
cats came along, and Mary really enjoyed watching them grow
accustomed to life in the woods.  This painting captures
some of the feelings Mary had observing her cats in the wild -
the bright, observant, mysterious eyes, the attentive ears, and
the ever-present skeleton of some poor hunted creature nearby.
